Museum of Anthropology and Ethnology / visit

On foot: about 5 minutes from the Duomo | about 15 minutes from Santa Maria Novella Station and Piazza Beccaria

By bicycle: about 6 minutes from Santa Maria Novella Station | about 6 minutes from Beccaria Square. Bicycle racks are available inside the courtyard of the building

By busline C1 Parterre-Santa Maria Soprarno, Proconsolo stop

By car: The Museum is located within the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL), so the car must either have a ZTL permit or be parked outside the ZTL. The nearest paid parking lots outside the ZTL are in Piazza Beccaria and at Santa Maria Novella Station. To access the ZTL, visitors with disabilities who are not residents of the City of Florence can register using following the procedure of Servizi alla Strada SpA. Cars with a ZTL permit and a disabled parking sticker can park for free in all spaces (marked spaces for people with disabilities, white lines for residents, and paying blue lines)

By plane: from Peretola airport, tramway T2 to the Unità stop. From there it is a 12-minute walk.

Botanical Garden "Giardino dei Semplici" / visit

On foot: about 5 minutes from Piazza San Marco | about 20 minutes from Santa Maria Novella Station

By bicycle: about 2 minutes from Piazza della Libertà | about 8 minutes from Santa Maria Novella Station. Bike racks are available at the beginning and end of Via Micheli

By bus: the nearest stop is on Via La Marmora, lines 1 - 11 - 17 - 20 - 52 - C1 (Autolinee Toscane bus timetable)

The nearest paid parking lots outside the ZTL are in Piazza Savonarola, Piazza Libertà and along Viale Spartaco Lavagnini and Viale Giacomo Matteotti. By bus: lines 1, 11, 17, 20, C1 stop in front of the entrance on Via La Pira 4, otherwise get off at or near Piazza San Marco (Autolinee Toscane’s bus timetable)

By plane: from Peretola airport, tramway T2 to the Rosselli, Santa Maria Novella Station stop. From there, it is an 18-minute walk, or one can take the bus n. 17, direction Verga Tozzi and get off at Venezia stop.

Villa La Quiete / visit

By train and on foot: about 25 minutes walk from Florence Rifredi train station

By tram and on foot: about 20 minutes walk from the terminus of the T1 line, located in front of the main entrance of Careggi Hospital

By bus and on foot, line 20 (from Rovezzano via Campo di Marte, Piazza San Marco, and Firenze Rifredi train station) with a stop at the terminus in Largo Caruso and from there, about a 10-minute walk | line 43 (Pian di San Bartolo - Firenze Rifredi train station) with a stop at the terminus in Via delle Gore and from there about a 12-minute walk

By car: The Villa can be reached by car, free of charge parking is available nearby. Upon request, visitors with disability permits can park in the nuns’ indoor parking lot.
