A journey through the Herbarium: 360° visit
In order to spread the knowledge of the Herbarium, to the community at large, the University Museum System has thought of ODO, a virtual space for immersive visits to the rooms that house the Botany collections.
The name “ODO” is a tribute to the Florentine Explorer and naturalist Odoardo Beccari, but it also recalls the “road” from the Greek οδός/do– (street, journey, route): a journey in the archives of the plant world and in their stories.
